Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Dartboard collects, how the app uses that information, and the choices you have. Effective date: July 16, 2026.

Information you create in Dartboard

Dartboard saves the profiles, avatars, match settings, teams, bot selections, scores, dart entries, match history, watchback data, and statistics you create locally on your device. Dartboard does not require a Pingeo account.

If you choose a photo for a profile avatar, the selected image is saved on your device so it can be shown inside the app. Dartboard uses that image only as an in-app avatar.

Apple iCloud sync

iCloud sync is available only in the Apple version of Dartboard and is optional. When enabled, Dartboard uses Apple CloudKit to sync profiles, completed matches, match statistics, settings, avatars, and related match records between your Apple devices.

Synced app data is stored in your private iCloud database and is associated with your Apple ID. You can disable iCloud sync in Dartboard settings. The Android version does not use iCloud sync.

Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by the app marketplace for your device: Apple StoreKit on iOS and iPadOS, and Google Play Billing on Android.

We receive purchase status information needed to unlock Dartboard Pro. We do not receive your full payment card number, Apple ID password, or Google account password.

When analytics is enabled on Apple devices, Dartboard may associate a purchase with a random app-generated identifier and receive StoreKit subscription lifecycle notices, such as trial renewal being enabled or disabled, renewal, or expiration. We use this information to measure trial and paywall performance; the identifier does not contain your Apple ID, name, email address, or payment details.

Ads and consent

Free users may see ads. Depending on platform and build, ads may be served or mediated by providers such as Google AdMob, Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads, or their advertising partners.

On Android, ad providers may process advertising identifiers, app set identifiers, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions, consent choices, and related signals to deliver, measure, limit, and improve ads.

On Apple devices, Dartboard may request App Tracking Transparency permission for ad-supported use. You can decline that permission without losing scoring features. Ads may use platform attribution such as SKAdNetwork and non-ATT signals where available. Where required or available, Dartboard shows the applicable consent or sale-and-sharing controls before requesting ads and makes those choices available later in settings.

Before ads are initialized on a fresh installation, Dartboard may contact our website to determine which regional ad-privacy choices apply. Our hosting infrastructure derives a country and, for US requests, a state or territory code from the request IP address, then returns only applicability flags. The app stores those flags and the time of the check; it does not store the IP-derived location or the IP address for this check and does not request GPS location.

Analytics

Dartboard uses analytics to understand feature usage, improve reliability, and measure whether key flows such as onboarding, paywall, match creation, review prompts, ads, and settings work correctly.

Analytics events may include app version, device and OS information, locale, purchase access state, selected feature names, and non-sensitive usage events. Match statistics shown to you are derived from your recorded darts and matches. When analytics is enabled, Dartboard sends analytics events to an analytics service provider.

Feedback

If you choose to send feedback from Dartboard, the message you type and basic app context may be sent to service providers that help us review feedback, investigate issues, and improve the app. Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

Device services

Dartboard may use Apple or Google platform services for store reviews, purchases, subscriptions, app integrity, advertising and attribution services, and other operating-system features needed by the app. Those platform providers process data according to their own policies.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, such as providers for iCloud sync, purchases, subscriptions, ads and consent, analytics, diagnostics, feedback review, and app marketplace services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our rights.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete a profile, delete all app data, or uninstall the app. Synced data may remain in iCloud until removed from the app or from your iCloud account.

You can delete all Dartboard data from the app settings. Apple and Google may retain purchase or subscription records according to their own policies. Ad providers may retain ad and consent records, and analytics service providers may retain analytics records, according to their own policies. We remove feedback messages from our active feedback records within 90 days unless we need to keep a specific message longer for legal, security, abuse-prevention, or support reasons.

Children

Dartboard is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
